Sports Report Session 2013-14

Sports committee of the college headed by Dr. N. N. Yadav with inspiring Principal Prof. Akhilesh Kumar is continuously engaged in organizing different sports events in the college and college team has visited across the country for participating in different sports events. College women basket ball team visited to intercollegiate women basket ball tournament 2013-14 in university campus C S J M University Kanpur with Coach Dr. N N Yadav and Dr. Mishu Singh. Team has performed well and km. Anshika Singh B.Sc. III is selected for university women basket ball team. This team has participated in the north zone inter university championship held on 5-7 November 2013 in Jalandhar University Punjab. College boys chess team visited to intercollegiate of C S J M University Kanpur on 29-30 November 2013 conducted by P P N P G College Kanpur. The team headed by Dr. N N Yadav and the team has got second place in university jointly with Christ church College Kanpur.

College boys bench lifting team with Shubham Singh Chauhan B.Com. II year participated in Utter Pradesh Power Lifting Association Championship held on January 2014 at Bareilly, bagged gold medal in 69 kg group and qualified for National Bench lifting championship held on 22-23 February 2014 in Jammu and Kashmir. College boys bench lifting team with Shubham Singh Chauhan participated in intercollegiate boys power lifting championship C S J M University Kanpur on 13-14 February 2014 at Green Park Stadium Kanpur.

Annual college sports function in organized in the college sports complex on 17-18 February 2014. The inauguration of the function is start in the presence of chief guest Dr. Ram Sahai R H E O lucknow and chair person Prof. Akhilesh Kumar Principal of the college.

A huge number of students have participated in various events like 100 meter, 200 meter, 400 meter, 800 meter, 1500 meter race, discus throw, jablin throw, long jump, musical race, rope pulling separately for boys and girls. Champion of the champions of college for session 2013-14 in girls group is Km. Anshika Singh B.Sc. III and Alok Shukla in boys group. All participants of the college tournament, intercollegiate and interuniversity tournaments are honored with prizes by the college principal.

Sports council and N S S unit of the college has organized a voter awareness program 8 march 2014 in the college campus, chaired by district magistrate ,in the presence of sweep nodal officer, sweep coordinator Hardoi.
